Yellow Door Home Build/Renovation Process Checklist to Breaking Ground
◻ Initial contact with Builder
◻ Complete details using above provided form “Submit Build or Renovate Home Form”
◻ Phone call meeting (~15-30 minutes) | Free
◻ In person meeting (~1 hour) | $35 non-refundable deposit towards next step
◻ Formally bid project with floor-plan (~30-45 days of working with subcontractors and vendors to receive formal bids). For cost estimate purposes, new construction homes range a minimum of $155+/square foot depending on design and finishes. |
A hand-sketched floor plan for Yellow Door to complete ranges from. $800-$1,500
Formal Bid Process est. $500.00 (non-refundable deposit towards build) for new construction and est. $250.00 for renovations.

◻ Client completes loan documations with appriasals for lender, if necessary
◻ Begin construction
◻ Yellow Door completes and submits photos, lien waivers, and receipts to lender
◻ 5 draw period with milestones marking completion
◻ 95% completion walk-through with Yellow Door
◻ Final reveal, walk-through, and then move in!
WARRANTY
Latent defects in a new home are warrantied for the first year of occupancy.
Structural defects are warrantied for ten years. Upon completion of your new construction home, Yellow Door Inc provides a list of subcontractors for Clients to directly communicate with for each component of the warranty.

Stix & Brix Co., by Yellow Door specializes in natural wood fences. We build them to suit your land making it a snug fit to the ground; meaning the fence won’t only look amazing, but also function beautifully. Please submit the below form to begin the process of building your fence!
